NOAA-N' launched successfully Feb. 6, 2009 from VAFB, Calif. by a Delta II launch vehicle.

  NOAA-N', the last in the series of TIROS ATN, was successfully launched on February 6, 2009 from Vandenberg AFB, Calif., by a Delta II launch vehicle.

The Delta II carrying NOAA-N Prime lifted off Feb. 6, 2009 at 2:22 a.m. Pacific time, from Space Launch Complex-2 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

The countdown proceeded smoothly throughout the night and early morning. Neither the spacecraft nor the United Launch Alliance Delta II launch vehicle experienced any technical issues, and the weather conditions remained favorable.
